BLACK / MINORITY ETHNIC (BME)

Black Teachers' Conference 2017

Fri 3rd - Sun  5th Nov: Conference & Events Centre, Hill St, Birmingham B5 4EW

Click this box when details above  for an application form and programme of events.

This is an annual event that allows the NUT's black members to discuss and address
issues of race equality, education, and the workplace.

The Conference plays an integral role in ensuring that the NUT's work
is in the interests of its black members and all black teachers.

For the NUT, the term 'black' refers to people of
Asian, African, Caribbean and other minority ethnic groups
who may experience racial discrimination.
